Our Staff at Chatham and Snodland

We employ a range of qualified staff who are experienced in childcare development and will ensure that your child has the best experience possible whilst at our nursery. We encourage student placements as additional members to the nursery crew. Our staffing requirements are set out by Ofsted and we comply with those regulations.

All of our staff have opportunities to further their development through formal training and on job mentoring. Staff are required to keep abreast of new developments in the child care industry and for continuous learning.

Our staff comply with our policies and Ofsted regulations. These nursery policies are available to parents and carers as part of our brochure. OFSTED regulations can be found on the OFSTED website.

All children at the nursery will have a member of staff who will be their named key worker and this staff member will be responsible for liaison with parents on a regular basis.

EXPERIENCED  LEVEL 2, 3  or above QUALIFIED STAFF for Chatham and Snodland sites
 
Our nurseries requires individuals who will assist in progressing the nursery. This will include organising rooms, arranging suitable activities, ensuring that the environment is kept clean, hygienic and safe.  All staff must be confident in observing children and writing up their observations thus ensuring that all Ofsted Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements are fulfilled.  All staff must be responsible for the creation of an enabling environment and curriculum so that children can have excellent learning experiences.  For more senior staff they will assist in updating and ensuring the implementing of policies and procedures in line with the Statutory Framework. To manage and observe staff and ensure that the rooms are well resourced and liaise with the management team.

The nursery requires staff who want to deliver an outstanding environment for children and will be able to successfully market the nursery and ensure that occupancy rates rise. This will need to include developing good relations with parents/carers other professionals and the wider community.
