For 0 -11 years old, up to 16 if disabled - Tax Free Childcare
For working families including self employed
For every £8 you pay in the government will add an extra £2 up to £2000/year

For 0 - 15 years old - Tax credits for childcare
70% childcare costs up to a cap

For 0 -15 years old - Universal credit for childcare
For working families claiming universal credit
85% of eligible childcare costs up to a cap

For 0 - 15 years old - Childcare vouchers
up to £933 per year in tax and national insurance savings

Support while you study
Weekly payments from Care to Learn whilst at school or 6th form college
Help through your college if you are in further education
A weekly grant if you are in full time higher education

From Apr 2024 - Up to 15 hours for eligible working families in England with a 2-year-old. 

From Sept 2024 - Up to 15 hours for eligible working families in England with a child between 9 and 23 months old. 

From Sept 2025 - Up to 30 hours for eligible working families in England with a child from 9 months old up to school age.
